On November 13th, the province of Alberta announced new targeted public health measures in response to the recent increase in COVID-19 cases. These measures are in effect from November 13- 27 and include the area of Rockyview County. (A full overview of these measures can be accessed here.)
Based on these new guidelines, the small, resident-only, cohorted, low-intensity fitness and art groups will be permitted to continue to gather at the Residents Club. Our management team will also continue to meet with residents and contractors when necessary. Reach out directly to Derek or Autumn at any time to schedule an appointment.
However, in doing our part to keep our community safe, the Board passed a motion at a recent Directors’ meeting confirming the decision to not take bookings at the clubhouse for one-time social events for a period of two weeks or for as long as enhanced social restrictions remain in place. EVRC is deliberately taking a cautious and conservative approach to ensure the health and safety of all residents, visitors, staff and contractors. . We encourage anyone seeking to host a gathering to contact some of our local, neighbouring restaurants who can more safely accommodate social functions. It is certain many of these businesses could also use our support!
As the start of winter is upon us, it is a great time to remember how fortunate we are to call Elbow Valley home amidst the pandemic. We are surrounded by natural beauty and have endless outdoor amenities for our private use.
Oh— and stand-by for announcements on how we will be celebrating the festive season!
Contact the Clubhouse with any questions you may have.
Stay safe and stay well.
