The Government of Alberta announced today that Stage 3 of reopening the province will take place on July 1.  In combination with that, we expect we will be able to open Elbow Valley fully (with the exception of the Boat House which will be undergoing repairs until mid-July).  This means the Residents Club should be open and staffed should you wish to drop in to use the facility, or speak with staff.  We will confirm Elbow Valley specific information to residents, by email, as we get closer to the date.

The Government of Alberta press release, follows.

Alberta’s Open for Summer

Alberta moves to Stage 3 on July 1

Thanks to Albertans’ hard work following public health measures and getting vaccinated, Alberta has hit the 70% threshold to enter Stage 3 of the Open for Summer Plan on Canada Day.

All mandatory restrictions will be lifted, including the ban on indoor social gatherings. Isolation requirements for confirmed cases and protective measures in continuing care settings may remain. Masking may still be required in limited and specific settings. More details will be shared prior to July 1.
